Italy in Pictures

Italy in Pictures

Recently, some people I know decided to take a trip to Italy. That reminded me of the time that I went to the beautiful country. I realized that I wanted to show others my experience so they can get an idea of what they want to do or where they want to go. So, even though these pictures are from a few years ago, I decided to post them so that anyone can look at them to get inspired for a vacation or just want some cool scenic and architectural pictures to look at! I labeled the location of each picture as well as what the picture is above the photo in case you specifically like that image. I also included some photos of me and posed like I was on a photo shoot 😀 Please enjoy the photos and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to leave a comment below! (:

“Photo Shoot”

These pictures are just me posing for my “photo shoot.” I thought the view from the balcony as well as the balcony itself looked like it would come from a Vogue photoshoot, so I had a few pictures taken and it was a lot of fun 😀 I wanted to put these in here to give you some outfit inspiration, enjoy the view of Venice, and just get an Italy feel.

Architecture

Italy has a lot of beautiful architecture! From the Colosseum to the Leaning Tower of Pisa to the structures in Ravello (near Amalfi Coast), it is very easy to be amazed by all that the country has to offer. Below are ancient ruins in Rome with many of the buildings gone and a few remaining, the breathtaking Florence Cathedral, the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Pantheon in Rome, the Vatican, the Colosseum, and pretty architectural sites.

Food/Desserts

These pictures alone make me want to go back to Italy! Not only was the food amazing, but also beautiful to look at. The people from each area took food very seriously and believe that a good presentation is as important as the taste of the food. In these photos, I included some scenic pics of bread by the Mediterranean Sea in the Amalfi Coast, a wide assortment of pastries in Florence, chocolate cake from both Rome and Florence, and gelato from Florence.

Scenery

Something else that can’t be forgotten when traveling to Italy is the scenery. Whether you are in a city or a mountainous region, there is beauty everywhere throughout the country. These photos include the city of Amalfi from my hotel room (Hotel Miramalfi), the rivers of Venice and the view from my hotel room, beautiful vases in Ravello, and a really nice hotel pool.

Shopping/Clothes

Italy is one of the homes for high-end fashion. Many brands such as Chanel, Moschino, and Céline can be found, as well as more affordable stores like Zara, H&M, and unknown but cute clothing and accessories shops. I loved to just walk in the stores, look around, and appreciate the beauty of the items. Moschino’s clothing and accessories are definitely something to appreciate! P.S. – the airport in Rome is amazing – it basically looked like a really nice mall! The Prada store below is from the airport.

Fun

These are just cute little things I did when staying at my hotel in Amalfi. As shown below, in one picture I am jumping off of a little cliff and in the next one I am just laying down by the pool. I had fun doing these things and I recommend doing this as well as sight seeing, shopping, admiring architecture, exploring Italy, and having fun.
